Cone jet spray nozzles Type S
With cone jet spray nozzles type S, differently from spray nozzles type C, cone jet is obtained thanks to "deflection". Water is conveyed to a specially designed surface to draw the required, well defined jet. Drops, spread only on the outer surface, form a cone jet.
The jet produced by the spray nozzle, made up by drops with different diameters, can be used for many purposes, such as to take advantage of the impact of the drops on a surface (in order to wash it or clean it). In this case they are used to intercept suspended solid particles present in
smokes to clean. They are also used to cool surfaces by means of liquid flow on the their surface. It is very interesting to note that a liter of liquid sprayed in very thin drops can create a thermal exchange surface of tens of square meters, with consequent very fast evaporation processes.
